The proposed project aims to integrate the Ayakapı Hammam back into city life with its protection and contemporary additional design. Over time, the historical bath has become less visible even though it is placed at a node point on the main street. The intention was for the bath to become a focal point and reappear in the current urban texture. Following the concepts of “old and new” “solidity vs transparency”, as well as the hamamms’ place in the historical process helped rehabilitate this historical building into the main social cultural attraction.
